Do you disagree?

We’ve said it before and we’ll reiterate that New England is not one of the better teams in the NFL. They are mediocre at best. What they are good at however, it waiting for the opposition to make a mistake and capitalizing. The Pats don’t outplay anyone. They also have less talent than most but they BB demands that every player be detailed oriented and don’t make mistakes that cost games. BB’s philosophy is “don’t turn the ball over, don’t take foolish penalties and don’t do anything stupid and we’ll win a lot more games than we lose.'' He's right and that’s how the Pats have beaten eight dregs this year. Don’t be fooled into thinking the GOATS can’t lose two in a row because they can and probably will. They’re also the second best team on the field here.

Mediocre is an adjective that means "merely adequate" or "of only ordinary quality." A "C" is a mediocre grade for students who are fair to middling. The roots of the adjective mediocre are from the Latin medial, "middle," and ocris, "mountain." "

Whoever said that should quit watching, writing and talking about football forever.

Dumb statement. Real dumb.

If he means that they have mediocre talent he is still wrong. For starters, Brady and Bellichick stir the drink. They are tippity top shelf.

what matters is that they are overrated by the bookmakers. they have major issues on offense at left guard, tight end, fullback, running back, qb mobility and major issue with the place kicking. defense has carried them but should digress with 4 tough games coming up consecutively. they will do handstands if they can go 2-2 during this stretch. that will put them at 10-3 with 3 cupcakes (bengals, jets, bills) to close out the season. then they will have to knock off the chiefs and ravens in the playoffs. not likely.

just because they are 6-3 against the spread doesn't mean that they weren't overpriced in those games. they were, they covered anyway. they are overpriced again tomorrow vs the eagles. should be 2 maybe 2 1/2 and yet they are a ridiculous 4. of course most favorites and overs are 1- 1 1/2 higher than they should be since the books know what people are going to bet before they bet. for 50 years straight it's been favorites and overs and will never change.

C'mon man, none of us know more than the bookmakers, and the fact they they're 6-3 ATS doesn't help any argument that the bookmakers are overrating the Patriots

I assume he was excluding the coach, Bellichick, from his remarks about the talent on the NE team. After all, the coach doesn't ever play on offence, defence or special teams.

As for Brady, IMO he gives NE the advantage in talent over most other teams QB's, but that's only one position out of dozens on a team. How does NE match up in all the other positions?

This isn't the same NE team that won the Super Bowl last year.

NE has been getting action & 4.5's are now available:

Which would equate to NE -10.5 if the game were in Foxborough? That seems too high.
